The 11th Mayon 360 Albay Ultramarathon, organized by JCI Legazpi, occurred on May 11, 2024. This demanding 80-kilometer run traversing the iconic Mayon Volcano, starting from Peñaranda Park in Albay and crossing three cities and seven municipalities. The event drew 500 runners from local and national backgrounds, demonstrating its broad appeal and significance.

Preparation for the ultramarathon began on May 10, 2024, with kit claiming and a race briefing at Pacific Mall, Legazpi. The race started on May 11, 2024  at 5 AM, emphasizing the commitment of JCI Legazpi to promote sport and wellness in alignment with the UN’s goals.

Following the pandemic, this ultramarathon marked a significant comeback for sports events and tourism in Albay. JCI Legazpi expressed profound gratitude for the support from past participants and the growing number of new runners. The organization also extended its heartfelt thanks to the sponsors, stakeholders, and the 500 PNP personnel, as well as the BFP, Coast Guard, and barangay officials who ensured the event’s success and the safety of all participants.
